Art direction was in the hands of Christopher Simmons while the video is work of video director Chuck Grant. Mick Rock’s path is far from the one of a fashion photographer, yet he has photographed some of the most influential music stars in the last five decades – such Iggy Pop, the Ramones, Lou Reed as well as Lady Gaga, The Killers and Daft Punk more recently. Rick’s images of David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust are to this day iconic, he also worked on album covers for Lou Reed, Iggy and Stooges, as well as Queen.
‘What helped a lot is the fact that I got constant stimulation from the clothes. Because they’re so fabulous, and they’re colourful. And then of course there’s the personality of Alessandro, who’s an open, giving force!’ – shared MICK ROCK
