Divorce actress Sarah Jessica Parker stars in the cover story of American InStyle Magazine‘s January 2017 edition captured by fashion and celebrity photographer Thomas Whiteside. In charge of styling was Ali Pew, with set design from Bette Adams, and production by Red Hook Labs. Beauty is work of makeup artist Leslie Lopez, hair stylist Serge Normant (both at Jed Root), and manicurist Gina Eppolito.
“It’s taken me a long time to find anybody who I thought had as much potential as Carrie Bradshaw, who was as complicated, human, layered, and objectionable yet understandable, relatable yet foreign. People think she was a second skin for me, but she wasn’t. I didn’t know her at first. She was different from me as anybody I’d ever played or known.
